Job Summary

The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for ensuring efficient and accurate storage, handling, and distribution of materials, components, and finished goods. This role will optimize warehouse operations, implement best practices in inventory control, and lead a team to support Hounen Solar’s production goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping of materials.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records using ERP/WMS systems and conduct regular cycle counts and audits.
  • Ensure proper handling and storage of solar components (cells, modules, raw materials) to prevent damage.
  • Develop and enforce SOPs for warehouse safety, efficiency, and compliance (OSHA, ISO, etc.).
  • Supervise, train, and motivate warehouse staff, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Schedule shifts and allocate resources to meet production and delivery timelines.
  • Collaborate with procurement, production, and logistics teams to ensure seamless material flow.
  • Manage relationships with carriers, freight forwarders, and 3PL providers.
  • Optimize warehouse layout and workflows to maximize space and efficiency.
  • Enforce strict safety protocols (PPE, hazardous material handling, forklift operations).
  • Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations (e.g., battery storage, chemical handling).

Qualifications

  • Bilingual in Mandarin/English is highly preferred.
  • Education: Associate’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field (preferred).
  • Experience: 5+ years in warehouse management, preferably in solar manufacturing, electronics, or high-volume production .
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP/WMS (e.g., SAP, Oracle), MS Office, and inventory analytics.
  • Leadership: Proven ability to manage teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Certifications: Forklift certification, OSHA training, or Lean/Six Sigma (a plus).
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 50 lbs and operate warehouse equipment.
