LHH Recruitment Solutions has partnered with a growing organization, and they are seeking a motivated Tooling Engineer to join their team. Seeking an Engineer who excels in designing and optimizing tooling systems for aluminum forming, stamping, and machining. You will be responsible for playing a pivotal role in driving efficiency, precision, and cost-effectiveness across production processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and refine tooling for aluminum component manufacturing.
• Collaborate with production teams to assess and improve tooling performance.
• Select materials and fabrication techniques aligned with product and volume requirements.
• Partner with suppliers to source, fabricate, and test tooling components.
• Conduct root cause analysis on tooling failures and implement corrective actions.
• Support new product development through feasibility studies and prototype tooling.
• Ensure tooling compliance with safety, dimensional, and surface quality standards.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation including CAD files and revision histories.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering.
• 3+ years of experience in tooling design—preferably in metal-forming.
• Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks preferred).
• Strong knowledge of aluminum alloys and press tooling.
• Familiarity with quality systems and manufacturing documentation.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communicator and team collaborator.
• Experience with compound dies and complex tooling systems.

Compensation Range: $90,000-$115,000
