T&V Lab Technician (Temporary)

Location: Bothell, WA (On-Site)

Pay Rate: Up to $33/hr

Position Type: Contract - 12 months with potential for extension

About the Role

A company in Bothell, WA is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented T&V Lab Technician . In this on-site role, you'll be a vital part of a mission to improve lives by ensuring the quality and reliability of consumer products, specifically those in the Sonicare toothbrush line. This is a hands-on, non-clinical role focused on the rigorous testing and verification of new and updated products.

Responsibilities

  • Perform a wide range of verification tests on oral healthcare products using a variety of equipment, from manual inspections to fully automated testers.
  • Execute detailed testing procedures by following documented instructions (Test Protocols).
  • Collect, organize, and analyze experimental data, and document your findings in written test records.
  • Evaluate new test methods and provide recommendations to our engineering teams.
  • Maintain lab equipment and testers by performing necessary calibrations and preventive maintenance.
  • Collaborate with product development engineers, performing tests and offering observations and recommendations.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or vocational education required.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a Research and Development (R&D) environment, Engineering Laboratory, or a similar setting is required.
  • A 2-year technical degree or equivalent with 5 years of experience is preferred.
  • Strong electrical, mechanical, and mathematical aptitude is a must, along with an understanding of fundamental engineering and physical principles.
  • Demonstrated initiative in troubleshooting and resolving problems with custom test equipment.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions are essential.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, cross-functional product development environment is highly desirable.
