Overview

We specialize in fast, high-volume residential construction surveying in Texas. Our “gorilla surveying” approach means quick, accurate work to keep projects moving.

We are seeking a skilled Crew Chief to lead surveying crews in Austin, TX . You’ll manage daily jobs, coordinate routes, oversee helpers, maintain equipment, and communicate with builders to ensure timely, accurate completion of tasks.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and lead daily survey jobs from the office list, optimizing routes.
• Supervise and train helpers, promoting skill growth.
• Maintain all equipment and company vehicle upkeep.
• Communicate with builder superintendents to resolve onsite issues.
• Support and coordinate with other crews as needed.

Experience

• Experience leading residential or construction surveying crews in Texas.
• Knowledge of Austin’s residential developments.
• At least 2+ years of experience land surveying
• Self-starter with strong leadership and communication skills.
• Willing to train in DFW for 2 weeks, then apply in Austin.
• Familiarity with Leica equipment is a plus.
