Job Description

Are you a highly organized, detail-oriented professional seeking an impactful career in litigation support? We’re searching for a skilled Litigation Paralegal to work alongside an experienced team of attorneys at a fast-paced and collaborative legal environment. This role offers opportunities to tackle engaging pre-litigation and litigation projects, expand your expertise, and play a central part in driving case success.

What You’ll Be Leading

As a Litigation Paralegal, your diverse responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive legal research and building persuasive evidence chronologies to support case strategies.
  • Managing the collection, organization, and production of crucial evidence at all stages of litigation using tools like Logikull.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders—such as technology teams, clients, and opposing counsel—to streamline document control processes.
  • Preparing factual and legal chronologies and assisting in applying those to specific claims and defenses.
  • Drafting impactful pleadings, motions, declarations, and legal memoranda with effective citations to laws and evidence.
  • Creating deposition outlines, summarizing transcripts, and preparing trial materials like exhibits, witness lists, jury instructions, and pre-trial binders.
  • Supporting attorneys during trial, including coordinating witness appearances, collaborating with expert witnesses, and engaging in jury selection.
  • Assisting in motion preparations, appeals processes, and discovery exchanges while reviewing compliance with legal standards.
  • Monitoring case schedules and deadlines using calendar systems like Compulaw to support a multidisciplinary team of attorneys and legal assistants.

Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience with legal research platforms (Lexis, Westlaw, PACER, etc.).
  • Exceptional citation-checking and legal document preparation abilities.
  • Strong familiarity with federal and state rules, procedures, and appeal processes.
  • Proven track record of supporting large-scale litigation projects (eDiscovery and litigation technologies are a plus).
  • Knowledge of legal billing systems and terminology (experience with TABS is a bonus).
