Senior Lead Business Execution Consultant (BEC IV)

Hybrid – Charlotte, NC

6-month Contract (W2), Weekly Pay (40 hours/week)

Calculated Hire is in search of a Senior Lead Business Execution Consultant (BEC IV) for our Fortune 100 Financial Services client. This role sits within the Product and Strategic Delivery team supporting CIB Operations, primarily in the Middle Office and Collateral Management spaces. The consultant will drive change execution, business analysis, and project delivery in support of capital markets operations and technology platforms.

Job Description

• Act as a Business Analyst/Project Manager hybrid, leading requirement gathering, process mapping, and solution articulation across Middle Office, Collateral Management, Derivatives Operations, and related Clearing initiatives.
• Work with technology partners and business users to build a clear multi-year platform vision and tactical execution plan.
• Lead requirement creation and validation sessions, ensuring full end-to-end process understanding and logical paths are captured.
• Partner with technology teams to deliver solutions in an agile, iterative manner while managing disconnects early.
• Drive test strategy planning and execution, ensuring testing is robust, thoughtful, and risk-mitigated — not just coordinating but actively designing test approaches.
• Communicate status, risks, and updates to diverse audiences, including executive leadership, tailoring language and messaging to each.
• Support projects such as clearing house memberships, treasury clearing initiatives, collateral optimization, corrective action initiatives, and new business line support.
• Create professional presentations, documentation, and analysis in Excel, JIRA, Confluence, and internal tools.

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years in Business Execution, Business Analysis, or Project Management, with direct exposure to capital markets/trading operations.
• Strong knowledge of post-trade lifecycle (what happens after a trade is executed) and operational impacts (e.g., derivatives, collateral, settlements, clearing).
• Hands-on experience in technology change execution — delivering solutions from requirements through testing/UAT and deployment.
• Expertise in requirement gathering, process mapping, and business case creation.
• Experience working in Agile environments, writing user stories in JIRA, leveraging Confluence, and participating in scrums.
• Strong Excel skills (data analysis) and ability to create polished presentations.
• Excellent communication skills, with experience presenting to and updating executive leadership.

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience with Broadridge and/or SWIFT platforms.
• Background in regulatory initiatives or collateral optimization projects.
