Job Summary:

Dexian is seeking a Project Manager for an opportunity with a client located in Charlotte, NC.

Responsibilities:

• Define project scope, set clear goals, identify tasks, and develop detailed project plans and schedules
• Allocate and manage project resources, including assigning tasks to the project team and ensuring the right people are in place
• Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring that all project activities remain within financial constraints
• Identify potential risks and challenges, and implement strategies to mitigate them and keep the project on track
• Lead, support, and motivate the project team, fostering a collaborative environment to achieve project goals
• Serve as the central point of communication, keeping stakeholders informed about project progress, challenges, and successes
• Ensure that all project deliverables meet high-quality standards

• Manage and implement changes to the project as necessary to ensure deliverables are met

• Oversee the final evaluation and completion of the project, documenting the process and assessing the results

Requirements:

• Highly competent with MS products: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project
• Specific project management experience in software development for the financial services industry or the wider technology industry. Understanding of financial operations processing & regulatory requirements
• Track record of delivering projects to plan and on budget
• Ability to assess an ill-defined problem and propose the tasks & deliverables that will be necessary to achieve the desired outcome
• Ability to manage and communicate with stakeholders at different levels including experience presenting executive level project status
• Knowledge of Operational processing within Global Banking / Markets - ideally with particular knowledge of Non-Financial Regulatory Reporting or similar regulatory mandates
• Proficiency in process design / process mapping
• Working knowledge of Agile methods and tools
• Strives to bring new thoughts and ideas to teams in order to drive innovation and unique solutions
• Excels in working among diverse viewpoints to determine the best path forward
• Experience in connecting with a diverse set of clients to understand future business needs - is a continuous learner
• Commitment to challenging the status quo and promoting positive change
• Participate in and drive collaborative efforts to advance tools, technology, and ways of working to better serve an evolving client base
