Position Title: Manufacturing Engineer (2 Openings)

Location: San Jose, California (Travel & Living Allowance Available for Non-Local Candidates)

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: Minimum 8 Months

Citizenship Requirement: U.S. Citizens Only (ITAR-Regulated Facility)

Overview:

Our client, a leader in Micro Power Products for medical, communications, and other high-reliability sectors, is seeking two experienced Manufacturing Engineers (also known as Methods Agents) to support and enhance production operations at their San Jose, CA facility. These roles are critical to ensuring that manufacturing processes are both efficient and compliant with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, revise, and standardize Visual Work Instructions (VWI) to ensure clarity, consistency, and process optimization.
• Review existing manufacturing documentation and implement improvements to boost operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams to verify the accuracy and effectiveness of work instructions.
• Apply best practices in manufacturing methodologies to support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with ITAR regulations and internal quality standards.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Manufacturing Engineer or Methods Agent in a high-reliability environment.
• Strong background in documentation development and process standardization.
• Attention to detail with a focus on compliance, efficiency, and best practices.
• Experience in industries such as medical devices, communications, or aerospace is highly desirable.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen due to ITAR regulatory requirements.

Additional Information:

• Preference for local candidates , but Travel & Living Allowance is available for the right out-of-area candidates.
• Immediate start required.
• Long-term contract opportunity with a minimum 8-month engagement.
