About the Role

The Landscape Production Manager is responsible for leading all aspects of landscape construction and installation projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple crews and subcontractors while maintaining the premium service experience our clients expect.

Key Responsibilities

Project Execution & Quality Control

  • Oversee all phases of landscape construction for multiple high-end residential projects.
  • Ensure adherence to design specifications, quality standards, and brand expectations.
  • Conduct site inspections to monitor progress, troubleshoot issues, and maintain craftsmanship standards.
  • Coordinate material procurement and ensure timely deliveries.

Team & Subcontractor Management

  • Lead, schedule, and manage in-house crews and subcontractors.
  • Foster a culture of excellence, safety, and efficiency within the production team.
  • Provide training, mentorship, and performance feedback to field staff.

Client & Designer Collaboration

  • Serve as a key liaison between the design team, operations, and the client during the build phase.
  • Communicate project updates, timelines, and adjustments to clients and stakeholders.
  • Address concerns promptly and ensure a seamless client experience.

Budgeting & Scheduling

  • Develop and manage project budgets and schedules.
  • Track labor hours, equipment use, and materials to ensure profitability.
  • Identify and mitigate risks to maintain budget and timeline integrity.

Safety & Compliance

  • Enforce safety protocols and OSHA compliance on all job sites.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and hazard-free work environments.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in landscape construction management, preferably in luxury/high-end residential projects.
  • Strong understanding of landscape construction processes, materials, and horticulture.
  • Proven leadership and crew management skills.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting landscape plans and construction documents.
  • Exceptional organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent client communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and basic Microsoft Office tools.
  • Valid driver’s license; clean driving record.

Preferred Skills

  • Knowledge of irrigation, lighting, and hardscape installation.
  • Experience with high-value custom landscape features and finishes.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
