This role is for a traveling Interventional Radiology Technologist responsible for performing a wide range of vascular and neurological procedures, utilizing Siemens and Phillips x-ray equipment. The technologist will work a first shift with call, providing care primarily to adult and geriatric patients. Prior experience in interventional radiology, specifically with neuro and body procedures, is required.

Responsibilities:
- Performing various interventional radiology procedures including stents, angioplasty, angiograms, nephrostograms, kyphoplasty, peripheral interventions, biopsies, drainages, and upper and lower extremity, abdominal and pelvic, genitourinary, vascular, and neurological studies.
- Utilizing Siemens and Phillips x-ray equipment (Acuson preferred).
- Managing a daily caseload of 13-17 patients.
- Participating in weekend and evening/night on-call rotation.
- Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation.
- Collaborating with the interdisciplinary team.
- Adhering to all hospital policies and procedures.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Minimum 1 year of scrub experience in interventional radiology (less may be considered with sufficient experience).
- Experience with vascular and neurological procedures (including stroke intervention and body procedures).
- Experience with inpatient hospital settings, PACS, and contrast administration.
- Proficiency in using Siemens and Phillips x-ray equipment.
- Current ARRT certification.
- Current BLS certification.
- Experience as a traveling technologist.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- ARRT Advanced Certification.
- Experience with EPIC and Visage.
- Outpatient, OR, ER, Level I trauma, or community hospital experience.
- Ablation experience.
Special Considerations:
- RTO is not allowed. Call-offs or additional RTO may result in cancellation.
- Travelers must be fully available Monday-Friday of the first week for orientation, with no other commitments. Missing orientation may delay or cancel the start date.
- First shift with staggered start times between 7:00 AM and 8:30 AM, 8 hours/day, Monday-Friday.
- 13-week contracts.
- Weekend and evening/night on-call rotation.
- Scrubs provided.
