Job Description

Major Food Group is hiring a Database   Project Manager to join our corporate team!

Database Infrastructure and Integration: to lead the development and implementation of a unified database infrastructure that consolidates key data from guest reservations, point-of-sale (POS) systems, location tracking, customer relationship management (CRM) systems, and other data sources into a centralized, owned database. This database will serve as the source of truth for guest profiles, while also providing deeper insights into guest behaviors, enabling more effective marketing strategies, streamlining the guest relations team’s priorities, and automating processes like reservations through AI chatbots.

This role involves collaborating with outsourced development teams to build a system that feeds critical guest and reservation data into the AI-powered chatbot, CRM, and marketing tools, helping the team prioritize high-value guests and automate operations that traditionally require human intervention. The project manager will also ensure that the data is used to glean valuable business and market insights, helping the company make data-driven decisions. Additionally, the project will utilize AI to train systems to recognize patterns and extract insights that may have been previously missed.

  • Oversee the development and integration of a real-time table management system to optimize seating and improve guest flow.
  • Ensure seamless system integration with reservation platforms and design workflows to enhance guest relations operations.
  • Direct data collection and synchronization across platforms (OpenTable, Resy, POS, Google Analytics, etc.) for real-time performance tracking.
  • Build infrastructure to generate insights for guest behavior, spending, and marketing segmentation.
  • Serve as the database lead for an AI-powered chatbot, enabling automated booking and inquiry handling.
  • Partner with developers to integrate AI functionality, ensuring continuous learning and system improvement.
  • Support CRM evaluation, implementation, and optimization for personalized guest engagement and loyalty efforts.
  • Oversee system testing and QA across all integrated platforms, ensuring data accuracy and proper functionality.
  • Act as the point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, providing updates, documentation, and alignment on goals.

REQUIREMENTS :

  • 5+ years of project management experience, preferably in hospitality, tech, or data systems.
  • Strong background in database design, CRM integration, and digital system infrastructure.
  • Proven success leading cross-functional teams and external development partners.
  • Deep understanding of data collection, validation, and real-time integration.
  • Experience working with POS, reservation systems, CRM platforms, and AI-powered tools.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to uncover insights from large datasets.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with a proactive and collaborative approach.
  • Familiarity with QA processes and system optimization techniques.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

BENEFITS :

  • Competitive Salary
  • Medical/Dental/Vision Insurance with Company subsidy
  • Growth Opportunities
  • Progressive Paid Time Off
  • Parental Leave
  • Tuition Reimbursement
  • Generous Dining Allowance
  • Unlimited Referral Program

Compensation : $175,000 - $225,000 annual salary
