Pay Range: $33 - $59/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership & Coordination
• Assign and adjust patient assignments based on acuity, skill level, and staffing needs.
• Support patient flow, bed placement, and coordination with house supervisors as needed.
• Monitor unit operations, equipment needs, and resource usage to ensure smooth workflow.
• Serve as a point of contact for physicians, interdisciplinary team members, and staff.
• Clinical Oversight & Patient Care
• Round on patients to evaluate care quality, safety, satisfaction, and care progression.
• Provide direct patient care as needed, typically with a modified assignment.
• Ensure the nursing process is followed including assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
• Partner with patients and families through effective communication and education.
• Team Development & Collaboration
• Support onboarding, mentorship, and development of nursing team members.
• Foster a work environment of accountability, respect, teamwork, and professional growth.
• Support shared governance, performance improvement efforts, and evidence-based practices.
• Communicate concerns or performance issues to nursing leadership when necessary.
• Documentation & Quality
• Ensure accurate, timely clinical documentation.
• Support adherence to organizational standards, patient safety goals, and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in unit-based quality and research initiatives as appropriate.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• Key Skills;BSN, BLS, experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate Degree/Diploma required; BSN preferred).
• Current Registered Nurse licensure (State or Multi-State Compact).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred (or obtained within required timeframe).
• Minimum 1 year of recent acute care RN experience required; 2+ years preferred.
• Prior relief charge or leadership experience preferred.
