Responsibilities * Prepare excellent coffee and espresso drinks * Demonstrate proficiency in milk texturing and latte art * Provide excellent customer service * Engage and interface with customers * Maintain a calm working environment during high volume periods * Demonstrate punctuality * Explain and sell whole bean coffee, retail merchandise, brewing tools and accessories * Continually restock and face merchandise shelves * Perform open, close and side-work duties as defined by cafe checklists * Multi-task and demonstrate initiative with routine tasks * Handle money with accuracy and accountability * Communicate clearly and directly with cafe manager about any issues that arise * Seek opportunities for job training * Participate in Caffe Vita community events and coffee cuppings * Support change and thrive in an adaptable environment Company Standards Are Follow * Represent yourself as an ambassador to the brand at all times * Demonstrate an unyielding commitment to excellence * Hold yourself accountable to deliver results * Challenge yourself to exceed set goals and objectives * Take responsibility for personal professional growth * Serve as a positive example for co-workers * Communicate with others directly, honestly & in a timely manner * Approach change with confidence and enthusiasm * Make sound & timely decisions based on experience & judgment * Be pro-active in providing solutions * Promote creativity & innovation Compensation & Benefits

• Seattle $20.76/hr + Tips
• Tips typically average $15-$35 per hour depending on the location.
• Employees are eligible for Paid Time Off, medical/dental insurance coverage(if working 25 hours or more per week) and a 401k with matching for full time employees(30 hours or more per week).
