Who We Are Looking For:

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented ASSISTANT DESIGNER in our New York City office to collaborate with our Senior Designer in the development of innovative fashion accessory collections. In this role, you will actively participate in trend research, translate concepts into compelling sketches, and meticulously create technical drawings for production. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in communicating directly with our factory partners to ensure timely updates and approvals. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and PowerPoint, have a keen eye for design, and demonstrate excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:

· Communicate and work closely with Senior Designer on concepts, ideas and inspiration for designs

· Create technical drawings Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop

· Review samples and make comments/revisions to factory

· Revise projects as necessary based on collaborative feedback process

· Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements:

· 1-5 or more years of professional product design experience

· Bachelor’s degree required

· Prior experience in accessories design desired

· Strong eye for trends and color

· Must be proficient in Adobe Suite Illustrator & Photoshop and Microsoft PowerPoint

· Ability to multi-task and prioritize to meet deadlines in a fast- paced environment

· Excellent communication skills and able to work as a part of team

· Must be detail-oriented, extremely organized and able to work well under pressure

· Must be able to complete all tasks given based on designated timelines

Salary Range: $50,000-$65,000
